Featuring a deep black colour with a classic satin shine, this fabric has a sleek, dressy finish that makes it ideal for eveningwear, occasionwear, costumes, linings, accessories and decorative projects. The smooth surface catches the light beautifully, giving it that rich satin look without feeling overly heavy.
The medium-heavy weight gives it more body than very lightweight satins while still keeping a soft flowing drape.

New To Satin?
Satin is known for its smooth surface, glossy sheen and elegant drape.
It is often used for eveningwear, occasionwear, linings, costumes, accessories and decorative projects where a more polished finish is wanted.
Satin can be a little slippery to sew, so cutting carefully, pinning well and using a finer needle can make it much easier to work with.
