Black Stretch Denim – 3 Metre Piece (151cm / 60" Wide)

This is a black stretch denim with a classic twill weave and a slight built-in stretch for comfort. It has a firm, structured feel like proper jeans denim, but with just enough give to make it comfortable to wear and easier to move in.

At approx. 151cm / 60" wide, it’s wider than many standard denims, which gives you more cutting options for jeans, dungarees and jackets. We haven’t got the exact GSM pinned down yet, but in the hand it feels like a medium–heavy weight stretch denim – ideal for jeans, dungarees, jackets, pinafores and workwear-style pieces.

Each listing is for a 3 metre piece, which is a really useful length for full outfits or a mix of garments and accessories.

Sewing & care notes

• Pre-wash before cutting to allow for shrinkage and to remove any excess dye

• Wash separately or with dark colours for the first few washes

• Wash at 30–40°C, line dry where possible

• Use a denim or jeans needle, and a stretch stitch or slight zigzag on seams that need to flex

• Press with steam on the wrong side

• As with all denims, expect it to soften and relax with wear
