New To Baby Cord?

Baby cord is a fine-wale version of traditional corduroy, featuring narrow raised ribs that give the fabric its distinctive texture.

Unlike heavier corduroy, lightweight baby cord is softer and less bulky, making it particularly popular for children's clothing, dresses, pinafores, skirts and accessories.

The raised surface gives the fabric a subtle nap, so it is important to cut all pattern pieces in the same direction for a consistent appearance.
