Winceyette is a soft woven cotton fabric that has been brushed to create a warm, slightly fluffy surface.

You may also hear fabrics of this type described as brushed cotton or cotton flannel.

The brushing process traps a little more air around the fibres, giving the fabric its characteristic cosy feel while retaining the breathability and comfort of cotton.
