A beautifully substantial wool mix combining a timeless houndstooth pattern with fine coloured check lines for a contemporary twist on a classic design.

The main pattern features a traditional black and cream houndstooth, overlaid with subtle windowpane-style lines in blue, green, lilac and warm rust tones. These little flashes of colour soften the monochrome base and give the fabric far more character when viewed up close.

At approximately 345gsm, this is a heavyweight fabric with plenty of substance and structure. The 20% wool content adds warmth and a traditional wool-mix character, while the polyester content brings practicality and durability.

A fantastic choice for autumn and winter dressmaking, particularly for structured garments where you want the fabric itself to make an impact.
