This is a beautiful Japanese black lace, made from a soft cotton/nylon blend. It has an all-over lace design with a good balance of openness and coverage – delicate and decorative without feeling scratchy or overly stiff.

At approx. 110cm / 44" wide, it’s perfect for layering over other fabrics, adding sheer panels, or using as statement details on garments and accessories.

Each listing is for a 3 metre piece, giving you plenty to play with for dresses, tops, overlays or multiple smaller projects.

Sewing & care notes

• Pre-wash gently before cutting if you plan to wash the finished garment

• Use a fine, sharp needle

• Consider French seams or narrow overlocked seams to keep edges neat

• Cool hand wash or delicate machine cycle in a wash bag

• Do not tumble dry

• Press on a low heat with a pressing cloth if needed
