LION STRIPE – 100% COTTON FABRIC – 135.5cm WIDE

 A wonderfully quirky striped cotton print featuring rows of colourful little lions, flowers, hearts and decorative motifs.

The design alternates between dark navy lion stripes and vibrant royal blue floral stripes, separated by narrower cream and pink bands filled with tiny multicoloured hearts.

The lions are definitely the stars of this one, appearing in bright turquoise blue, lime green and pink with contrasting spotted manes. Between them sit rows of stylised yellow flowers and little blue decorative motifs, giving the whole fabric a cheerful retro feel.

Because the design runs in defined horizontal stripes, it also gives you plenty of opportunity to play with placement when cutting your pattern pieces – perfect for borders, feature panels and coordinating details.

The striped layout makes this particularly fun for pattern placement. Individual lion, floral or heart bands could be deliberately positioned along hems, pockets, yokes, borders or feature panels.
