Old Rose (Widely Spaced) Cotton Poplin – 3 Metre Piece (142cm / 56" Wide)

This is a beautiful quality 100% cotton poplin with an old rose (widely spaced) print on a soft blue background. The roses are spaced out with plenty of background showing, so the design feels lighter and less busy – lovely for both adults’ and children’s garments.

The fabric is smooth and crisp, but still soft enough to drape nicely – more wearable than many standard craft cottons, and lovely to sew with. At approx. 142cm / 56" wide and around 110gsm, it sits in our very light–light weight band – ideal for dresses, shirts, children’s wear, quilting and craft projects.

Each listing is for a 3 metre piece, which is a really useful length for full garments, matching sets or a mix of smaller projects.

Sewing & care notes

• Pre-wash before cutting to allow for natural cotton shrinkage

• Wash at 30–40°C with similar colours

• Line dry where possible

• Press with a warm to hot iron and steam for a lovely crisp finish

• Use a standard universal needle (70/10–80/12)
