A wonderfully quirky cotton jersey combining bold stripes with cleverly hidden tiger faces.

At first glance this looks like a striking geometric stripe design, with irregular deep red and white vertical lines broken up by blocks of warm mustard. Look a little closer and those mustard shapes become wonderfully stylised tiger faces peeking through the pattern.

The unusual combination of graphic stripes and playful animal detail gives this fabric a distinctive modern feel without looking like a traditional novelty print.

Soft, stretchy and comfortable with a substantial midweight handle, this cotton-rich jersey is ideal for everyday stretch clothing for both children and adults.

Sewing & Care Notes

• Pre-wash before sewing

• Machine wash at 30°C

• Cool to medium iron

• Wash with similar colours

• Ballpoint or jersey needle recommended

• Stretch stitch or narrow zigzag recommended on a standard sewing machine

• Overlocker suitable

• Avoid stretching the fabric while sewing

• Take care when pattern cutting if you would like the stripes to match across seams

• Cotton may shrink slightly on first wash

Cotton jersey is a knitted fabric rather than a traditional woven fabric, giving it natural flexibility and a soft, comfortable feel.
