Create your own collection of beautiful Scandinavian-inspired Christmas decorations with this Winter Folk Cut & Sew Ornament Panel from Dashwood Studio, designed by Sally Payne.
The panel contains 28 pre-printed ornament pieces arranged as 14 matching pairs, ready to cut out, sew together and stuff to create 14 individual hanging Christmas ornaments.
The charming Winter Folk designs include owls, birds, reindeer, polar bears, dogs, Christmas trees, hearts and decorative folk-style circles, all illustrated in a soft Scandinavian-inspired palette of reds, greens, blues, pinks and neutrals.
Each shape has its cutting line already printed onto the fabric, making this a wonderfully straightforward festive sewing project.
Even better, the sewing instructions are printed directly along the selvedge of the panel – simply cut along the dotted lines, place the matching pieces right sides together, leave a gap at the top for ribbon, sew with a 1/4 inch seam allowance, stuff and hand sew the opening closed.
A lovely Christmas sewing project and a brilliant way to make handmade decorations that can come back out year after year.

New To Cut & Sew Panels?
Cut and sew panels take much of the measuring and pattern preparation out of a sewing project because the individual pieces and cutting lines are already printed directly onto the fabric.
Simply cut out the pieces, match them together and follow the sewing instructions.
They're a brilliant introduction to sewing and are also perfect when you want a satisfying handmade project without needing a separate paper pattern.
